Third Wave LLP appoints Jonte Bousfield as Head of Asset Management

London, 11 September 2026 – Third Wave LLP (trading as Third Wave) today announced the appointment of Jonte Bousfield as Head of Asset Management, signalling the broker's commitment to delivering market-leading insurance and risk solutions to the global asset management sector.

 

Bousfield joins Third Wave following a successful six year tenure at AssuredPartners International, where he most recently served as Divisional Director and led the Asset Management practice. With more than a decade of experience advising financial institutions and asset managers, he has worked with clients ranging from emerging businesses to some of the industry's largest organisations managing tens of billions in assets.

 

Widely recognised for his expertise within the financial institutions market, Bousfield brings a combination of technical insurance knowledge and a deep understanding of the asset management industry. His appointment marks a significant step in establishing Third Wave as specialists in the sector.

 

He will be joined by Mathew Parker, Associate Director, who brings more than twenty years of experience in portfolio management, equity research and investment analysis. Throughout his career, he has held senior investment positions with leading organisations such as Aviva Investors and BMO Global Asset Management. Mathew combines extensive investment expertise with a deep understanding of portfolio construction, risk management and institutional investment processes.
